Senggigi is a prime luxury tourist town perfectly situated on the west coast close to the ferry port from Bali, the International Airport, the capital of Mataram, and the Gili islands. Before the development of the current abundance accommodation on the Gili islands, Senggigi was an incredibly popular area with an endless coastline of white sand beaches shaded by palms meeting clear turquoise lagoons protected by offshore reefs, and a vibrant nightlife of extremely classy bars and restaurants offering service matching Bali’s most prestigious locations. Senggigi is a surprising little spot as it offers excellent luxury beach accommodation at almost budget prices, has excellent facilities, activities and dining as well as many local attractions and excellent access but is also un-crowded and very cheap.
