The Oberoi Lombok is located in on the northwest coast of Lombok in a tranquil area close to the town center with ferry access from Bali and to the famous Gili Islands close by. The villa styles are traditional and display a mixture of traditional thatched village style and palace like grandeur creating a pleasant homely atmosphere around this tranquil area. Fine locally made furniture and art combined with traditional local color schemes provide a real connection with this beautiful part of the world. The 24 acres of luscious private tropical gardens and landscaped grounds surrounds this tranquil hideaway where deeply red romantic skies over Bali and be witnessed from the beach, pool, restaurant or private veranda at the end of each day.

The Oberoi Lombok offers 50 villas located all on ground level with private walls and buildings all constructed using traditional methods and materials. Each room has an elegant sunk in marble bath situated in the private gardens of the villa with seating and shades around the sun deck.

Terrace pavilions have larger grander rooms and include glass walled garden bathroom and outdoor dining table. All have rock pools and the superior actually has a private pool. The royal Ocean pool is the pinnacle of the Oberoi Lombok with separate sitting rooms and a full kitchen and guest shower. Although traditional in style there is a significant presence of high-tech facilities including satellite TV, CD players, a mini-bar, broad band and a safety deposit box are all present.

There are four options in The Oberoi Lombok when it comes to dining, firstly the Lumbung restaurant is a open air thatched pavilion with amazing reflective scenery across the infinity pools and foliage towards merging into the oceans turquoise colors and in the evening the whole scene is tinted with deep and vibrant oranges and reds. The perfect romantic spot for the evening meal. Continental meals, breakfast and light lunches are available from the shady sunbird café with views of the Gili islands and seafood served in the evening. The themed Indonesian buffets at the amphitheatre are not to be missed with Sasak dances on selected evenings. For the perfect sunset view complimented by a selection of cocktails and drinks in the Tokek bar.

The spa is truly out of this world, a real eastern gem offering traditional treatments from Bali, Java and Lombok including massage, facials and ceremonial baths. The service is exquisite and the heavenly sensation is comma inducing.

Activities include Golf just 10 minutes away, tuition for water sports such as windsurfing, diving, snorkeling, and a range of boat rides is available from the beach club house where the Gilis are a tiny boat ride away. Tennis courts are available on site and other activities include mountain biking, sea Kayaks, sailing, power boating and deep-sea fishing.
